Job Description |
Requirements: • Minimum of five (5) years government contracting experience • Capable of performing all Contract Manager functions with minimal supervision by the Task Lead and/or minimal interaction with their supported Government Contracting Officer • Certified APDP Level II in contracting • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract instruments such as Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Task Orders, Firm Fixed Price and Cost type contracts • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Understand funding types and their applications • Function at a level of performance similar to series 1102, GS 11-12 equivalent
Desired Qualifications: • Previous experience as a contract specialist or warranted Contracting Officer for a weapons system program or major service contracts, or a position with the equivalent level of responsibility. • Experienced user of PD2. Able to input Purchase Requests (PRs), input contract documents, and create contract instruments/CARs with minimal assistance • Experience with or exposure to Research and Development (R&D) and cost type contracts • Ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships • Experience in DoD systems acquisition program management and/or sustainment.
